What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

This policy explains how Rankbench (“we”, “us”), run by Sajid Ali in Pakistan, handles information when you use therankbench.com. Contact: rankbench.tools@gmail.com.

Information you enter into tools

70 of our 75 tools process text, code and files entirely in your browser. That information is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. The Core Web Vitals checker sends the public URL you enter to Google PageSpeed Insights (via our server) so Google can test the page, and the Site Audit tools fetch the public page you enter through our server; we do not store either.

Information you choose to send us

  • Pro waitlist: your email address, used only to tell you when Pro launches.
  • Tool directory submissions: the tool details you submit and your email address, used to review the listing and contact you about it.
  • Email: if you email us, we keep the conversation to reply to you.

This information is stored with Supabase, our database provider, and is never sold. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing rankbench.tools@gmail.com.

Server logs and hosting

Our host, Netlify, automatically records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.

Visitor statistics

To understand which pages are useful, we count visits with our own simple, cookie-free counter. For each page view it records the page address, the website you came from (for example google.com), your country, your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop) and an anonymous code made by one-way hashing your IP address and browser with a secret that changes every day. We can’t identify you from it, can’t follow you from one day to the next, and never share it. Visits are kept for about 13 months and only shown to us as totals.

Cookies and advertising

We don’t use analytics or tracking cookies; our visitor counter works without them. We store your light/dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage.

We use (or plan to use) Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown. See our Cookie Policy.

Children

Rankbench is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing rankbench.tools@gmail.com.

We’ll update this page if our practices change, and the date above will change with it.
